The long-term vision for Voidbound: Beyond Survival is to evolve into a fully decentralized ecosystem governed by its players and community members. Chronoscope Studios is committed to transitioning decision-making power to the community in a measured, transparent, and sustainable way.

This journey toward decentralization will unfold across three distinct phases, ensuring that each stage of governance maturity is supported by strong infrastructure, informed participation, and clear processes. The ultimate goal is the creation of the Voidbound DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) — a governance system that empowers players to shape every major aspect of the game’s future.

Phase 1: Community Feedback and Input (2025–2026)

In the early stages of development and launch, the Chronoscope Studios team will retain control over core operational decisions. However, community involvement will be deeply integrated into the process through structured feedback and consultation mechanisms.

Key elements of this phase include:

• Regular community polls and surveys to gather player input on new features, balance adjustments, and future updates.

• Public town hall meetings hosted by the development team to discuss the project roadmap and address community questions.

• Transparent communication channels where the team provides insight into decision-making processes and invites active participation.

This phase lays the foundation for trust, collaboration, and transparency, preparing the community to take on greater responsibility in future stages.

Phase 2: The Voidbound Council (2026–2027)

The second phase introduces the Voidbound Council, an elected body of community representatives who act as intermediaries between the player base and the development team.

The Council’s role will include:

• Representing player interests and priorities in discussions with the development team.

• Reviewing and advising on major updates, balance changes, and game direction.

• Facilitating communication and governance readiness within the community.

The creation of the Voidbound Council marks the transition from consultative participation to shared governance, ensuring that player voices are actively reflected in the project’s direction.

Phase 3: The Voidbound DAO (2027 and Beyond)

The final stage of the governance roadmap is the establishment of the Voidbound DAO, a fully decentralized governance system controlled by holders of the Voidbound Token (VBT).

The DAO will oversee all major aspects of game governance and ecosystem management, including:

• Game Development Community members will be able to propose and vote on new features, expansions, gameplay mechanics, and content priorities.

• Economic Policy The DAO will control key parameters of the Voidbound economy, such as marketplace fees, NFT minting costs, and token sink rates, ensuring economic balance and long-term sustainability.

• Treasury Management The DAO will manage the community treasury, allocating funds toward new development initiatives, marketing efforts, partnerships, and community-driven events.

Through the DAO, Voidbound: Beyond Survival will become a self-governing, player-owned universe, where the direction of the game is determined collectively by its community.
